About Position
The Information Technology (IT) Director will be able to assess the customer needs and determine short and long term strategy for the business. This will entail someone who brings the ability to manage small and large scale projects as well as provide leadership and focus for a technical team. This role will ensure proper documentation and process management to ensure we maintain a highly secure and efficient system that provides value to company and our customers in a cost effective manor. Company is actively searching for an organized, self motivated, positive, proactive individual to join the team as an IT Director. The IT Director will assist the company by providing the following support:

Key Responsibilities
  • Company strategy and vision
  • Current and anticipated/future client needs
  • Ensure effective and efficient internal company processes
  • Recognizes new developments in information systems technology, and anticipates organizational modifications
  • Establishes long-term plans and needs for information systems, and plans strategy for developing systems and acquiring hardware and software to meet application needs in a cost effective manor
  • Ensures confidentiality and reliability of company and client data, proprietary information, and intellectual property
  • Functions as top level contact to assist end users in determining IS requirements and solutions
Required Skills
  • Ability to lead technical teams (Inside employees and contractors as necessary) to meet the needs of the business
  • Strong communication skills and can translate complicated issues into more simple terms
  • Experience in project management of large ERP and customer oriented projects (Preferably PMP certified)
  • Ability to translate customer needs into the strategy for the department for short and long term changes
  • Tightly manage processes, documentation and costs
  • Ensure highly secure systems to meet compliance goals
  • Understanding of compliance/security issues in a pharmaceutical or medical device industry
  • Familiarity with numerous IT solutions to support business needs
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field required
  • Professional with 7 – 10 years experience managing IT
