Description:
We are looking for a highly organized and professional Account Executive to support the Business Development team and interface with our clients (both internal and external), as well as our internal production teams. In order to perform these functions successfully, the Account Executive must have strong verbal and written communication skills. He/she must also be highly organized, comfortable working on multidisciplinary teams, adept at multitasking and prioritizing activities, have basic financial management skills, and display creativity and problem solving skills. Additionally, a strong candidate will have experience presenting information to small and large groups and have a strong attention to detail. The candidate must be highly organized in terms of time management, prioritization, and workload management.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to development of new project budgets and new business development activities, as identified by the VP, Business Development;
  • Learn and contribute to the budgeting, monitoring, financial monitoring, and reconciliation of individual projects;
  • Participate in start-up meetings for each project, contribute to establishment and maintenance of time and events schedules, and provide weekly updates on each initiative to assigned team member;
  • Contribute to development of all project activities, including client communication, and production of business development materials;
  • Maintain effective and accurate verbal and written communications with appropriate agency and client personnel to ensure positive work flow;
  • Write organized, complete, accurate and concise contact reports, status reports, cover letters;
  • Monitor all budget, research and production activity on assigned accounts and communicate status of each project to appropriate agency and client personnel;
  • Collaborate with production to develop manageable work flow timelines based on important deadlines;
  • Contribute suggestions, new ideas, procedural recommendations, solutions, business expansion opportunities;
  • Represent agency at review committee meetings, production planning meetings; prepare reports back to agency team with results;
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or health/science field or related job experience is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of previous experience in an advertising agency or healthcare environment is preferred. Experience with multimedia or interactive media a plus.
  • Microsoft Office with proficiency in PowerPoint.
