Position Summary
Responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day agency efforts on behalf of the client’s product and/or service on assigned accounts. Primarily responsible for the execution of all projects for the brand.
Principal Responsibilities
- Client:
- Builds rapport and credibility with client based on trust and expert counsel
- Synchronizes communications between account teams, vendors and clients; tracks all billing and payment records
- Works with client to execute advertising and marketing plans
- Organizes/manages client presentations
- Is able to communicate directly and frequently with client with some autonomy
- Internal:
- Understands client positioning and strategy thoroughly; has solid brand, category, and competitive knowledge
- Keeps team informed of changes in client/competitive climate. Communicates clearly and frequently
- Works with account team to execute plan tactics
- Responsible for accurate and thorough documentation: status reports, contact report, timelines; Takes ownership of day-to-day tactics and executions within agency
- Develops strong and positive working relationships with creative, traffic, production, finance, other departments
- May mentor and direct the activity of an Account Coordinator or AAE
- Financial Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with and adherence to agency financial and operating procedures and policies
- Manage production budget, agency billing and invoices
- Maintains a list of active and inactive job numbers
