Description:
We are currently seeking a Multimedia Developer to join our digital department.
Responsibilities:
- Creating a variety of multimedia projects (including websites, emails, banners, DVDs, etc.).
- Developing and reviewing solution architecture and functional specifications.
- Performing quality assurance testing on all projects.
- Working directly with project managers to communicate and update information as necessary with regards to schedules, budgeting and revisions.
- Consulting with art directors to ensure web constraints are followed with regards to interface design.
- Mentoring and training art directors on flash and interactive capabilities.
- Multitasking and managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously and maintaining deadlines and timelines.
- Working with project management to create and standardize processes.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a lead developer of interactive projects.
- Expert knowledge of Flash, Flash Video Encoder and ActionScript 2.0 (ActionScript 3.0 is a plus).
- Knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Director and Lingo.
- Experience with Video and Audio Compression as well as experience with a video editor such as Finalcut Pro or Adobe Premier.
- Experience with DVD Studio Pro or similar.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and technical teams.
- Self motivated to explore new technologies and programs.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- College Graduate preferred.
