Position Description:
The Proposal and Sales Support Manager will collaborate with the Account Executives to lead the preparation and development of Medical Communication solution proposals, budgets, templates, and sales support materials.

Core Functions:
Working closely with our Account Executives (AEs), lead and/or assist in the development activities to respond/complete RFPs, RFIs, project budgets, work-orders, reports and other prospective clients documents submitted on behalf of our AEs:
  • Coordinate existing and recommend new proposal development workflow activities
  • Support the evaluation of proposal requests to assist in Bid/No-Bid decision
  • Lead proposal sales strategy meetings to determine response strategies to various RFPs
  • Identify, establish, and communicate task assignments, schedules and deadlines to internal team members and production groups for incorporation into proposals
  • Maintain and develop Solution Templates and Frequently Used Language
  • Prepare and communicate/distribute status reports to management and team members
  • Approve pricing proposed in documents and obtain final approval from General Manager
  • Ensure proposal quality by making certain documents are grammatically and technically correct and in conformance with company standards and quality objectives
  • Review proposals in a timely fashion to ensure organization is meeting client deadlines
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Communications, or equivalent education
  • Effective people skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational, time management, verbal and written communications, decision making, and problem solving skills.
  • Must possess excellent diplomacy, tact, and judgment.
  • Attention to detail a MUST.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks on an often stringent timeline.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel applications.
  • Must be highly self-motivated.
  • Proposal Management experience with knowledge of Medical Communications services is a plus.
