Overview:
This position is responsible for concept, writing and presentation of all projects for assigned accounts as well as providing mentorship, guidance and support to other Copywriters within the group.
Description of Duties:
- Partner with Art Director on brand and concept development
- Collaborate with creative, account services, production and extended team members
- Collaborate with Editor/Proofreader to ensure accuracy and consistency in writing style
- Provide mentorship, guidance and support to other writers within the group
- Provide direction to external collaborators such as broadcast producers and directors
- Act as a hands on Copywriter
- Keep up to date with trends in branding, marketing, advertising and related communications industries
- Keep up to date with trends within the industries specific to assigned accounts
- Knowledgeable on products and services to assigned accounts
Minimum Requirements:
- Proficient in critical software - primarily Microsoft Word
- Ability to manage the creative process, workflow, workload and resources among copy staff
