Overview:
Reports to the Associate Creative Director. The Senior Interactive Designer will possess the ability to take abstract concepts and minimal corporate visualization and turn them into exciting, cutting-edge interface designs that are user-friendly, representative of the client's goals, and within brand guidelines.
Description of Duties:
- Develop creative concepts that push the limits of design
- Present creative concepts both internally and externally
- Follow and fight for the creative process
- Create feature sets, navigation schemes, and style guides
- Create storyboards and animation
- Direct photographers, illustrators, and multimedia developers
- Work closely with copywriters, account managers, and other studio staff
- Mentor and review the work of other interactive designers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 3 years agency (or in-house agency) interactive experience
- Interface design experience and a design-related degree
- Ability to collaborate closely with others in a team environment under tight deadlines
- Ability to manage small design teams throughout a project life cycle
- Ability to clearly articulate and present designs to clients
- In-depth knowledge of PhotoShop, Illustrator, Freehand, Flash, and a solid understanding of HTML
- After Effects and motion graphics experience
- 3D animation experience is a plus
