Position Summary
The Senior Account Supervisor (SAS) is a brand champion, demonstrating strong ownership of the brand keeping the focus on brand success. An SAS manages his/her business including the supervision of the account service team, Account Executives and/or Account Supervisor(s) as it applies. This position reports to Senior Vice President who calls on the Senior Director of CV Marketing.

This SAS will be calling on the Assistant Director of Marketing for the cardiovascular business and that has a Senior Product Manager reporting to them and is called on by the Account Supervisor. Individual projects are matched to and serviced by the 3 Account people and client accordingly.

Responsibilities
  • Project Development
    • Develops strategic skills, masters tactical planning and implementation
    • Ensures all creative and tactics developed support the brand positioning
    • Continually seeks brand building opportunities/ways to overcome obstacles
    • Appropriately interprets and applies market research data
    • Participates in development of a strategic communications plan with alignment between issues, strategies, and tactics
    • Leads creative and account teams in the development of breakthrough creative to ensure high quality agency output, reflective of consistently superior creative product
    • Champions the creative product
    • Prepares and updates the Marketing plan as needed
    • Works with team to ensure all work is delivered on time and accurately
  • Client Relations
    • Maintains key client contact and ensures the client is kept apprised of the status of all jobs and ongoing progress
    • Attends client meetings/conventions/market research and handles timely follow-up
    • Delivers recommendations for programs, big ideas, and incremental income, and seeks opportunities to continually strengthen quality of client relations
  • Financial
    • Maintains financial control of all client work (estimates, jobs, fees, billing) within the guidelines of the client’s budget
    • Generates project lists for fee development
    • Prepares forecasts and updates regularly
    • Identifies opportunities to realize incremental income
  • Team Building/Leadership
    • Spearheads preparation of strategic options, copy strategy, and creative
    • Delegates tasks as appropriate while ensuring quality meets agency standards
    • Evaluates performance of account team members and makes developmental recommendations
    • Advocates for staff growth and development while providing clear and regular performance feedback

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7- 10 years with healthcare experience on the client side in sales, sales training and/or marketing or healthcare agency experience. Pharma preferred. Experience with interactive, physician KOL development, sales training and/or patient programs a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
