Description:
A Creative Copy Supervisor should possess practical experience as a writer in the marketing and advertising industry, as well as management experience. In general, Copy Supervisor should have extensive experience in pharmaceutical, health care, or business-to-business arenas.

  • Possess practical experience as a writer in the marketing and advertising industry, as well as management experience.
  • Should have extensive experience in pharmaceutical, health care, or business-to-business arenas.
  • Will be expected to have regular interaction with the client, including project beginnings, creative presentations, discussions regarding revisions and evolution of work, and thorough market research.
  • Work requires outstanding creative expertise, strong understanding of branding, and the ability to thoroughly understand product and product category.
  • As a manager, the individual should have excellent organizational skills, negotiating skills, and mentoring abilities.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day efforts of the creative team.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Training and development of reporting creative team, including writers, art directors, graphic designers, and editors, and management of all such personnel.
  • Working with account services to develop and/or answer long term strategy and develop new ideas for client consideration.
  • Making work assignments and managing deadlines.
  • Overseeing development of creative assignments, insuring the quality of presented solutions in terms of both creative quality and strategic accuracy.
  • Review of all creative work prior to account services and client review.
  • Attending and/or overseeing photo shoots.
  • Supervision of materials through execution; working with production personnel to insure accuracy in all areas.
  • Attending market research to ascertain customer knowledge as it applies to the product, therapeutic category, and market demographics.
Requirements:
MUST have previous pharmaceutical experience.
