Overview of Position:
The primary responsibility of the SVP, Account Service Director is to ensure delivery of strong, cohesive, and innovative strategic medical education plans and flawless execution of programming activities for all client accounts within the business unit, while achieving optimal profitability for the organization. This position has the ultimate customer contact and ensures that all contact with customers meets the standards of quality. This visible leader will actively contribute and collaborate with the President, COO and CFO, as well as with the EVP/Managing Director of their business unit to ensure success of the organization as a whole.

Responsibilities:
  • Internal Operations – Business
    • Responsible for the orchestration and direction of organizational operations, including issues management, capacity planning, infrastructure development, resourcing, etc to support new and existing customer needs.
    • Responsible for the comprehension and proactive communication of critical business issues (including but not limited to changes in account activities) and their impact on budget and/or forecasts to senior leadership of the business unit
    • Responsible for the development of accurate and timely revenue budget and forecasts that meet and/or exceed established targets
    • Responsible for communicating key projects, new organizational opportunities, and key issues in a timely and proactive manner to the COO
  • Internal Operations – People
    • Responsible for the direction and motivation of the account management employees through visibility, accessibility, communication and best practice coaching.
    • Responsible for the development of the professional competencies of people to drive the business to improved performance and success.
    • Responsible for the recruitment and development of the best possible talent that ensures delivery of customer account needs
  • Client Operations
    • Responsible for providing each client with high-level counsel and strategic advice with respect to their associated brands.
    • Responsible for developing strong, enduring customer relations at all levels.
    • Responsible for assisting the VP/Group Account Directors in the development of strategic and creative input to their respective client programming initiatives.
  • New Business
    • Responsible for the development and presentation of new business pitches (as assigned to the business unit by the COO).
  • Responsible for adhering to all policies and procedures
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Science or related field.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Science preferred
