Position Summary
Provide direction and implementation on all recruiting.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all open positions including sourcing, screening, interviewing and follow-up.
- Actively source for candidates with a minimal dependence on external recruiters.
- Writing and or editing of job descriptions to fit the needs of the perspective position.
- Keep Sr. Management informed of all recruiting efforts by keeping a constant line of communication open as well as updating all open position reports.
- Develop and maintain outstanding relationships with outside vendors (headhunters).
- Manage the RFP (Request for Personal) process.
- Play a leadership role in the launch and maintenance of the ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
- Handle in conjunction with legal representation all H1B Visa transfers.
- Serve on the Diversity Panel and explore various ways to help recruit for diverse talent.
- Manage HR recruiting budget, this includes recruiting fees paid on new employees, job posting cost etc.
- Manage the on-boarding process beginning with the offer letter through the new hire orientation.
- Strategically staff – have a finger on the pulse of the companies anticipating future staffing needs. Manage the performance appraisal process including the 90-day introductory period.
- Maintains compliance with all federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Collaborates and assists the Corporate Director of Human Resources with on-going projects, procedures and other Human Resources initiatives.
- Actively network in the healthcare industry sourcing for relationships.
- Generalist Human Resources acumen a plus.
- Performs projects as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of four (4) years experience in the Human Resources field.
- Strong recruiting skills – experience within a Medical Communications environment a MUST.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior interpersonal skills with exceptional client service mentality.
- Ability to deal with Sr. Management on a daily basis.
- Ability to make sound judgments.
- Must be self-directed, organized and have the ability to multi-task.
- Must work well under pressure and have ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR database programs.
- SHRM/PHR preferred.
