Our client has an immediate opening for a VP Account Director.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with team to ensure all programs are initiated and completed in timely fashion
- Provide team direction and updates regarding content issues, competitive information, client expectations
- Initiate and oversee budget development process
- Participate in financial management meetings
Knowledge and Skills:
- Broad knowledge of healthcare and U.S. and non-U.S. pharmaceutical industry
- Client relationship experience
- Strategic brand development planning skills
- In-depth knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas including disease, thought leaders, and competitors
- Knowledge of strategic education tools and their appropriate applications
- Team leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of CME guidelines
- Knowledge of how to position for client brand development
- Combination of 5+ years healthcare experience in sales, marketing, MedEd or medical publishing
