Overview
The Project Manager reports to the President. Duties include strategic account management as assigned; project management for assigned account; coordination with clients to ensure complete and efficient fulfillment of all project and/or client needs and objectives; coordination with clinical experts to develop content; and coordination of project-related tasks with internal departments.

Responsibilities
  • Work with President and other Company Executives to maintain accounts and develop long-term management strategies for each account assigned
  • Maintain regular contact with clients at project initiation and throughout project, to ensure that all client needs and objectives are met in a timely, efficient and complete manner
  • Develop project timelines and budgets for assigned projects
  • Coordinate with project team that includes representatives of all internal divisions, including Production, Information Technology, Finance, Customer Service and/or Accreditation for each project; specific coordination tasks include:
    • Work with department heads to identify appropriate division of labor, task assignments
    • Meet regularly with project team to ensure timely, on-budget completion of projects and to ensure that all projects achieve all Company standards of quality, accuracy and clinical relevance
    • Meet at regular intervals to review client needs and objectives, and to analyze past progress in meeting those needs and objectives in assigned projects
  • Contact and recruit identified clinical experts for new projects
  • Maintain positive, productive relationships with clinical experts during projects and following project completion
  • Coordinate development of content with clinical experts, freelance medical writers and internal staff
  • Develop content, as necessary
  • Provide updates, reports and data to clients on a regular basis throughout project and as necessary
  • Update President at regular intervals regarding project status and client relationship
Position Requirements
  • A four-year degree in a medical, science or business field
  • A minimum of five years of relevant work experience in the medical and/or pharmaceutical field, with at least 3 years in account/project management
  • Previous experience in working with clients in the pharmaceutical industry and with clinical experts
  • Ability to work closely in a team environment
