Description:
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the data delivery, maintenance, reporting and quality control of multiple programs and business units in both Dresher and Saddle River. Program support provided using a variety of tools and systems such as: Verispan, Salesforce.com, Oracle, SQL server and a variety of PC based software

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Data Management:
    • Clean and process data received through Vendors/Clients
    • Maintain Customer Master Data (clean/de-dup records)
    • Provide best use of data information to end-users in other business units
  • Verispan:
    • Upload monthly data updates received from Verispan
    • Troubleshoot end-user issues
    • Ensure Business Development and Informatics deliverables
  • IT:
    • Bringing up servers in the morning used by other business units when necessary
  • Salesforce.com:
    • Data processing and manipulation for specified clients
    • Verify data loads and Reporting
  • Project Management:
    • Back up for Director, Informatics
    • Ad Hoc Client and Internal Reporting
    • Data load coordinator
    • Liaison between client/program VP Sales/Program Manager/Vendors
  • QC/Distribute Reports for the specified programs
COMPETENCY:
  • Knowledge of database theory, design, development and implementation.
  • High degree of computer literacy.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and methodologies.
  • Ability to plan and schedule projects and work under deadlines.
  • Ability to successfully work with other people.
  • Good problem solving abilities.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
EXPERIENCE:
  • 3-5 years experience in the information technology field is required.
  • 1-3 years of Pharma experience preferred (Pharma data experience is preferred)
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, however, 3-5 years of progressively responsible information technology work experience may be substituted.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
  • Proficiency with all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint). Knowledge of at least one server based database
  • Management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, etc.).
  • Knowledge of programming languages (both 3GL and 4GL) highly desirable.
