Our client has an immediate opening for a VP Group Account Supervisor Managed Markets.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for driving the strategy on launch brand with multiple indications
- Become fully versed in product and therapeutic category
- Be or become fully versed in all agency operations
- Manage account team
- Manage non-dedicated personnel (resource sharing) to cover workload and ensure maximum billability
- Identify new business opportunity within existing and new clients
- Identify partnership opportunities
- Oversee successful program strategy, quality and implementation
- Oversee growth and development of account team
Knowledge and Skills
- Managed Care/Payor experience with a strong understanding of strategies required to create brand access and build value-add programs in Managed Care
- 10 years experience in pharmaceutical marketing with at least 5 of those years being agency experience
- College degree
- Strong leadership skills to lead professional/managed care promotion team
- Launch experience preferred
- Strong skill in Agency operations and processes
- Strong strategic skills and knowledge of specialty markets -- Professional promotion marketing in institutional and office settings
- Experience in working with collaboratively across agencies and across disciplines
- Large agency network experience a plus
- Client-relationship building skills across all levels
- Strong written and oral communication skills -- experience presenting strategic and tactical plans to senior management
- Must be ethical, a good listener, collaborative, committed to excellence and outstanding performance and have the ability to translate language to action
